Crossfire | OOC

Kat and I were talking earlier and we both realized that neither of us really have the motivation to continue Crossfire. With a game of this size, there's a lot of work that goes into it. We love the players and the idea of the game, but outside of that we're lacking motivation to continue it, which 1) makes that work feel like an obligation instead of a hobby and 2) harder to accomplish things in game.

We do, however, feel bad for closing it because you guys have been so enthusiastic and wonderful. Your characters and applications have been amazing -- we really hope you guys get a chance to continue playing them. If anyone wants to take over modding or make a spin-off game, we're totally fine with that (just drop a comment below!).

We'll still have a chat going you can drop by (but we won't send out links for) here.

Also sooper sekrit government resistance member.



As far as the Ministries and general populace has concerned, Korea has been sent by the Grindelwald controlled Korean Ministry to encourage the British Ministry to be even more extreme in their adoption of anti-muggle policy. In actuality, she's there to find allies for Korea's anti-Grindelwald resistance group (ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, THIS MEAN YOO!!)

Fun Facts: That sassy hair cut of hers is half style, half to hide he fact that btch has only one ear. She's bossy like woah, also rude -- BE PREPARED. She's animagus, form of a goshawk. East Asian wizards don't use owls to send messages, they use crows -- hers is named Hyegyong and she's very attached.

As of yesterday, my baby sister is good and thoroughly married, which means that my year of obligations (as Maid of Honor/Whipping boy) have come to a close. I'm catching up over the next few days, but let me know if Lucius is needed for anything in particular. (Even if that something is backdated)

Just wanted to give you guys a head's up that Sarah's going to be on hiatus for a week (I think? I'll give you a date a little later). As many of you may know, Sarah decided to run off to Europe. There, she has basically five minutes of proper internet a day and is lucky when she can check her email and twitter. SO. Feel free to, in her words, pretend Regulus "as been trapped like a damsel in a tower by his parents this week".

Also, PLOTTING GROUP FORMATION TONIGHT so you should hope on if you have the time. It'll be totally awesome. If not, the piratepad or workflowy will be up on the OOC by tomorrow morning.

Yes, I'm going on hiatus too. Tomorrow is Father's Day so I'll be with the fam, and then I'm leaving bright and early Monday morning for a cruise in the Bahamas. WOO HOO! I'll be back Saturday.


For the record: Liam will be working at a Kenmare Kestrals match starting Sunday that will last until about Friday. Eek, so much Quidditch.

Sturgis is going to bury himself in a project with work. He's working to trace magic cast back to the wands that cast them, or at least be able to determine the type of wand it was. It's a gigantic project and he tends to get really into those, so don't expect him to pop up in any conversations or anything.

rightio folks, i'm off to sunny majorca tomorrow morning and i'll be back on wednesday 27th june. i will have wifi there but tbh, i'm not going to be checking in much. sorry, but the lure of sunbathing will be too great!

Hey my loves. I need to request a bit of a hiatus. (BOOOOOO.)

I'm going to be traveling to Egypt in about a week! (AHHHHHH.) I'll be leaving the evening of June 18th and arriving back home from Cairo on the 30th. Normally I'd wait another week to give a heads up, BUT I foresee being focused on packing/buying things I still need over this coming week, and may not be around for RPing/commenting/posting as much, so I didn't want any forthcoming absence to be unaccounted for. :)

SO..I'll still be here until next weekend, but likely to a lesser degree, so please forgive any lack of activity. And after that I'll probably be entirely gone from June 18-30. I think I'll likely have access to computers over there since I'll be staying with a friend's-friend's family, but I'm not sure how much down time I'll have.

I'll take lots of pics!

So this is very overdue but thanks to a lovely combination of a dying muse and a deceased computer, I'm sad to say I have to step out of the game :( It also doesn't help that work's been crazy and by the time I get home, I'm too zonked to do anything which just sucks for everyone.
